Dark Harbor returns for a one-night-only off-season scare! On Friday, June 13, experience Butcher’s Blackout, a terrifying descent into the Feast maze like never before—completely in the dark.
Enjoy sinister food and drink offerings (priced a la carte) while exploring the Spirits of Dark Harbor, the ship’s historic Engine Room and eerie exhibits in the Visitor Center. Combo ticket holders unlock even more horror with The Summoning of Samuel, a live séance resurrecting the spirit of the legendary Samuel the Savage.
Arrive early! Event attendees also receive free ship admission until 10 pm.

The Standard Admission ticket grants you one-time access to the Blackout version of the Feast Maze, an intense sensory experience that plunges you into total darkness. You’ll also explore the Spirits of Dark Harbor, where the Queen Mary’s most haunted legends come to life through chilling immersive environments. Your journey continues through the ship’s historic Engine Room and Visitor’s Center, offering a rare glimpse into the vessel’s ghostly past. As an added bonus, all event attendees can enjoy free same-day admission to the Queen Mary until 10 PM—just show your Butcher’s Blackout ticket at the hotel entrance and arrive early to explore before the terror begins.

COMBO PACK
The Combo Pack includes everything from the Standard Admission and adds an exclusive, heart-pounding experience: one-time access to The Summoning of Samuel. This actor-driven séance resurrects the legend of Room B340 in a terrifying interactive ritual where the line between performance and reality fades away. Along with this premium encounter, you’ll still gain entry to the Blackout version of the Feast Maze, Spirits of Dark Harbor, and the Queen Mary’s historic Engine Room and Visitor’s Center. Step into total darkness and descend into the twisted origin story of The Chef. Once a young, ambitious—and devilishly handsome—butcher aboard the Queen Mary, his dreams of becoming Head Chef were slowly carved away by years of servitude to ungrateful First Class passengers.
Now, during this exclusive blackout experience, you’ll navigate the ship’s galleys and prep rooms with nothing but a red glow stick to light your way. Shadows stretch, blades glint, and The Butcher waits… ready to test his newest recipe—with a secret ingredient no one can quite place.
The experience ends in a sick celebration of his promotion, where guests can enjoy eerie eats, themed drinks, and even snap a photo with the Chef—assuming you survive long enough to digest it all.

THE ENGINE ROOM
Venture into the historic Engine Room and see the very heartbeat of this massive ship! Fans of the paranormal will want to brave the Engine Room’s lower level to check out the infamous watertight door 13, where one of the ship’s engineers was crushed to death in 1966.In the years following the horrific incident, visitors and crew members began reporting sightings of a spectral young man in the area, often asking the living for help finding his wrench. While the engineer may have simply been searching for lost tools at the time of his accident, other young crew members were said to have been more daring. A favorite pastime involved jumping through the ship’s watertight doors in a risky game of “chicken.” Dark Harbor imagines the gruesome result of tempting fate in the cautionary tale of Half-Hatch Henry, a mischievous crew member crushed while jumping through watertight door #13 for sport.
Haunted Theatrical Seance

Enter the eerie atmosphere of our Summoning circle, where the veil between the living and the dead grows thin. Guided by our gifted psychic Lady Mabel, participants will gather around a dimly lit table adorned with flickering candles and artifacts from the ship herself. As Lady Mabel begins the ritual, a chilling silence fills the room, broken only by the soft, haunting melodies playing in the background. With each whispered incantation, the presence of a malevolent spirit draws closer. The psychic summons forth the vengeful ghost of a notorious murderer, whose restless soul seeks retribution. Brace yourself for an unforgettable ten minute experience of spine-tingling suspense and supernatural encounters, where the boundary between life and death is perilously blurred.
Secret Speakeasies
Secret speakeasies are hidden inside and around Dark Harbor’s mazes and attractions.
The location of these speakeasies is a secret. They don’t have a sign and they don’t appear on the Dark Harbor map. But if you’d like a clue about their whereabouts, we suggest booking an appointment with Lady Mabel. She might have some clues to point you in the right direction…
Access to Dark Harbor’s secret speakeasies is limited to persons possessing one of Lady Mabel’s mystic tokens or a valid VIP badge for that evening. If you’d like to guarantee access, you can make an appointment to see Lady Mabel for an “astrology reading,” or upgrade to a VIP ticket.
Lady Mabel’s Foresight Four Pack
The Foresight Four Pack includes a group astrology reading with Lady Mabel herself and four speakeasy tokens. This add-on is available exclusively online for purchase a la carte. Individual tokens are also available for purchase at the event, subject to availability.
VIP Ticket Access to Speakeasies
VIP Tickets grant access to all open speakeasies with a valid ticket and badge for that evening.
Each token/VIP ticket admits one person. Tokens/VIP ticket only guarantee entry when you find an open Speakeasy. A minimum of four Speakeasies are open each night. There are no refunds for missed attractions or experiences, including speakeasies.

The Observation Deck features stunning views of Dark Harbor from the ship’s T-Bridge, exclusive photo opportunities, pop-up character appearances, relaxed seating and an elevated full-service bar with beer, wine, and exclusive cocktails for purchase. The Observation Deck opens at 8 pm nightly. Included with Evil Express and VIP Admission. Not available for ala carte purchase. Admission does not include food or beverages. Due to the historic nature of the ship, this experience is not accessible.
